After being briefly hospitalized recently for an undisclosed illness, singer Janet Jackson has been forced to cancel more shows, including a scheduled October 16th concert at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Singer Janet Jackson has been told to postpone more North American tour dates by her doctor, days after announcing she was resuming the concerts.
Jackson, who has already cancelled several gigs because of an undisclosed illness, was originally scheduled to resume her tour in New York state.
A message on the Turning Stone resort’s website said Monday’s show had been cancelled “due to doctors orders”.
The cancelled shows included the following dates in Connecticut and New York:
Jackson cancelled her Saturday night show in Uncasville, Conn., only a day after she released a statement that she would be back on the road.
She also cancelled her Monday night concert at the Turning Stone Resort in New York.
In addition to several other concerts Jackson will have to reschedule, she has also postponed tonight’s show at The Turning Stone Resort in New York. Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.
