SNL’s Andy Samberg ‘Lonely Island’ Album Cover and Tracklist

with one comment

Andy Samberg’s ever-infamous sketch comedy and musical parody talents have brought new digital life to SNL and caused much hilarity, uproar and internet fan fervour to his recent classics such as the smash single “Jizz in My Pants”, the now infamous holiday treat “Dick in a Box”, the hilariously underrated SNL sketch  “Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals”, and the bizarro sex-rap tune “Stork Patrol”.

Now, Samberg and his group The Lonely Island are getting set to unleash their debut full-length album of comedic music: Incredibad on February 10th.

The album will feature big name musical guests including: T-Pain, Justin Timberlake, and Norah Jones among others — but, wait a minute — Andy Samberg is dating Joanna Newsom and she’s not appearing on the record?

Who will perform all of the harp solos?

The Lonely Island, the comedy team of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, gave Pitchfork a great exclusive interview a few weeks ago and now they’ve dropped the official album cover and tracklist for their debut comedy record, Incredibad.

Notable guests include Norah Jones, Julian Casablancas, T-Pain, Justin Timberlake, and Jack Black, but no sign of Samberg’s girlfriend Joanna Newsom. Here’s the tracklist:

Claude Berri, the acclaimed French actor, director, and filmmaker, has died at the age of 74.

Berri was in the midst of directing his twentieth film “Tresor” when he died of an apparent stroke.

French actor, director and producer Claude Berri, an institution in French cinema for more than half a century, died Monday at age 74. President Nicolas Sarkozy hailed him as ”legendary.”

Agent Dominique Segall said Berri died of a ”cerebral-vascular” problem — language often used for a stroke.

Berri produced Roman Polanski’s ”Tess” in 1979 and directed movies including ”Jean de Florette” in 1986 and ”Manon des Sources” (”Manon of the Spring”), both adapted from Marcel Pagnol’s vision of the French countryside.

Berri’s short film ”Le Poulet” won an Oscar in 1965.

He was in the midst of directing ”Tresor” (”Treasure”) — his 20th directing project — when he died, Segall said. ”It will continue despite his departure,” the agent added.
